… and I got a slew of thumbs down for saying that I love the multi-million selling song that defined Bobby Goldsboro’s career.
‘Summer The First Time’ is a beautiful romantic song describing how an innocent teenage male of 17 is seduced on a beach in sweltering summer heat by a mesmerising woman twice his age.
Radical feminists, God squad Christians and normal people: Would you like to listen to this song now and ponder as to why I would get ten thumbs down for saying how amazing and poignant this tuneful tale of seduction is.

My point by posing this particular question is that certain people flamed my answer even though I was simply describing a classic pop song that was embraced by millions that told the story – specifically – of a 17 year old and a 31 year old.
I wish it had happened to me. I did try to pick up my computer teacher, but she had a moral dilemma, alas it was not to be.
